However, the heterogeneous spatial distribution of fires is mainly driven by factors such as the occurrence of harsh mountainous areas, which is coupled with the accessibility problems that notably constrain the ability of administrative units to achieve reliable quantitative information e.g. on the size of the burned areas and the level of damages. The satellite imagery provide useful information on various spatiotemporal scales which enable a more realistic assessment of consequences of forest fire. Therefore, this study aims at testing the performance of LANDSAT TM data for burned area mapping across a selected test site in Zagros Mountains. To this aim, the required imagery was obtained for 1389 (2010) over Qoori Qaleh area of Kermanshah Province. A set of digital image processing methods were applied, including band ratioing, principal component analysis and analysis of separability amongst the burned area classes. The resulted dataset was further classified by a supervised Maximum Likelihood approach. The results showed the TM band 4 as well as a composite of bands 3, 4, 7 and the first principal components of bands 1-3 and 4-7 yielded an overall accuracy of 90 and 92.75% and kappa coefficients of 0.8 and 0.86, respectively. Thus the applied dataset is concluded to be appropriate for burned area mapping in such areas.}, keywords = {forest fire,TM imagery,burned area,Remote Sensing,Zagros}, title_fa = {قابلیت تصاویر TM در تشخیص جنگل‌های سوخته (پژوهش موردی: منطقه قوری‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌قلعه در استان کرمانشاه)}, abstract_fa = {هر سال به‌طور متوسط حدود 700 هکتار از عرصه‌های جنگلی استان کرمانشاه دستخوش آتش‌سوزی شده و از بین می‌رود. گستردگی و توزیع آتش‌سوزی‌ها، کوهستانی و صعب‌العبور بودن غالب مناطق جنگلی زاگرس توانایی مدیران را برای دستیابی به اطلاعات کمی قابل اعتماد در مورد اندازه قطعات سوخته‌شده، سطح خسارت و همچنین ارائه آمار و اطلاعات منطبق بر واقعیت با مشکل مواجه کرده است. بهره‌گیری از داده‌ها و تصاویر ماهواره‌ای مناسب، می‌تواند اطلاعات مفیدی را درباره شرایط پیش و پس از آتش‌سوزی عرصه‌های جنگلی فراهم کند. این پژوهش با هدف آگاهی از قابلیت داده‌های سنجنده TM ماهواره LANDSAT در تهیه نقشه جنگل‌های سوخته منطقه قوری‌قلعه در استان کرمانشاه اجرا شد. پس از تهیه تصاویر موردنیاز منطقه، با بهره‌گیری از اصول و مبانی سنجش از دور، انجام پردازش‌های لازم (تجزیه مؤلفه‌ها، نسبت‌گیری طیفی، تفکیک‌پذیری طبقات) با استفاده از روش طبقه‌بندی نظارت‌شده و اعمال الگوریتم حداکثراحتمال انجام شد. نتایج به‌دست‌آمده نشان داد باند چهار سنجندهTM  و ترکیب باندی سه، چهار و هفت به‌همراه مؤلفه‌های اول حاصل از تجزیه مؤلفه‌های اصلی باند‌های یک تا سه و چهار تا هفت، به‌ترتیب با صحت کلی 90 و 75/92 درصد و ضریب کاپای 8/0 و 86/0 از قابلیت و کارایی مناسبی در تشخیص و تمایز جنگل‌های سوخته‌شده در این مناطق برخوردار هستند.}, keywords_fa = {آتش‌سوزی جنگل,تصاویر TM,جنگل‌های سوخته,سنجش از دور,زاگرس}, url = {https://ijfpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_12432.html}, eprint = {https://ijfpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_12432_eae1d3da492a0e9452be4aba1cf704b6.pdf} }
