A sample of 31 trees was randomly selected. Throughfall and stemflow of each tree were collected after every precipitation. Throughfall and stemflow fluxes represented 40% and 0.3% of the precipitation, implying that interception loss (the difference between precipitation and sum of throughfall and stemflow) was 59.7%.
