No radiometric error was found using the quality investigations. Orthorectification of ETM+ was done using 55 ground control points with RMS error of 0.39 for X axis and 0.46 for Y axis and for LISS-III imagery with 34 ground control points with RMS error of 0.67 for X axis and 0.58 for Y axis. Some suitable image processing functions such as principal component analysis, tasseled cap transformation and appropriate vegetation indexes were applied for classification processes. In order to assess the classification results, a sample ground truth was generated using a systematic network with 60m×60m sample area. By computing the canopy cover percent of species, four forest types were determined in the study area. By selecting 25% of samples for each class as training samples, the best band sets were selected using transformed divergence separability index. Classification was performed by supervised method using minimum distance (MD), maximum likelihood and parallel epiped (PPD) classifiers. Results of classification showed that overall accuracy and kappa coefficient for 5 classes for ETM+ images were obtained %44.57 and 0.18 and for LISS III Images %50.6 and 0.32, respectively. After merging the classes of 1 and 2 due to spectral overlapping, the overall accuracy and kappa coefficient for 4 classes using ETM+ images were obtained %61.08 and 0.21 and for LISS III Images, %71.44 and 0.33, respectively. Finally, by merging the classes of 3, 4 and 5, classification was done with two types and the overall accuracy and kappa coefficient obtained %74.1 and 0.37 for ETM+ and %77.7 and 0.41 for LISS III, respectively. Being open canopy cover as well as conflicts between soil and vegetation reflectance caused preventive of obtaining the more favorite results. Result showed fairly more capability of LISS III data in compare to ETM+. Similar research in other regions and using of higher multispectral resolution data is suggested}, keywords = {ETM+,LISS III,maximum likelihood,forest type mapping,sampling ground truth,Zagros}, title_fa = {ارزیابی داده‌های ماهواره‌ای ETM+ و LISS III برای تهیه نقشه تیپ در جنگل‌های زاگرس (مطالعه موردی: جنگل‌های قلاجه استان کرمانشاه)}, abstract_fa = {به‌منظور ارزیابی و مقایسه تصاویر ماهواره‌ای ETM+ و LISS III در تهیه نقشه تیپ در جنگلهای زاگرس، پنجره‌ای از تصاویر چندطیفی و پانکروماتیک سنجنده‌های ETM+ ماهواره Landsat 7 و LISS III ماهواره IRS-P6 از جنگلهای قلاجه استان کرمانشاه انتخاب گردید. پس از بررسی کیفیت داده‌ها هیچ‌گونه خطای رادیومتری مشاهده نگردید. تطابق هندسی تصاویر با استفاده از 55 نقطه کنترل زمینی و خطای RMSE برابر 39/0 در جهت محور X و 46/0 در جهت محور Y برای تصاویر ETM+ و با 34 نقطه کنترل زمینی و RMSE برابر 67/0 در جهت محور X و 58/0 در جهت محور Y برای تصاویر LISS III انجام گردید. عملیات ‌پردازش تصاویر از جمله تبدیل PCA، تبدیل تسلدکپ و ایجاد شاخص‌های گیاهی مناسب منطقه بر روی تصاویر مربوطه صورت گرفت. برای تهیه نمونه‌های تعلیمی و برآورد صحت طبقه‌بندی‌ها، نقشه واقعیت زمینی نمونه‌ای از طریق آماربرداری منظم- تصادفی (سیستماتیک) و با 114 قطعه نمونه به ابعاد 60×60 متر تهیه شد و تعداد 5 تیپ بلوط خالص، بلوط غالب، بنه غالب، کیکم غالب و آمیخته از طریق درصد غلبه تاج‌پوشش گونه‌ها تعیین گردید. پس از انتخاب نمونه‌های تعلیمی و مجموعه باندهای مناسب، طبقه‌بندی داده‌ها به‌روش نظارت‌شده و با استفاده از روشهای حداقل فاصله از میانگین، الگوریتم حداکثر تشابه و متوازی‌السطوح انجام شد که الگوریتم حداکثر تشابه برای طبقه‌بندی مناسب تشخیص داده شد. نتایج ارزیابی‌ها نشان داد که میزان صحت کلی و ضریب کاپا برای تیپ‌بندی پنج طبقه‌ای برای تصاویر ETM+، به‌ترتیب 57/44% و 18/0 و برای تصاویر LISS III، به‌ترتیب 6/50% و 32/0 بوده است. پس از ادغام طبقات 1 و 2 مقدار صحت کلی و ضریب کاپا به‌ترتیب برابر 08/61 و 21/0 برای تصاویر ETM+ و 44/71 و 33/0 برای تصاویر LISS III بدست آمد که در نهایت با ادغام طبقات 3، 4 و 5، طبقه‌بندی برای 2 تیپ کلی بلوط و آمیخته انجام شد که این مقادیر به‌ترتیب 1/74 و 37/0 برای تصاویر ETM+ و 7/77 و 41/0 برای تصاویر LISS III بدست آمد. باز بودن تاج‌پوشش و همچنین اختلاط بازتاب خاک و پوشش گیاهی در این منطقه مانع از دستیابی به نتایج مطلوب‌تر گردید. نتایج نشان‌دهنده قابلیت نسبتاً بهتر داده‌های سنجنده LISS III در مقایسه با ETM+ می‌باشد و انجام تحقیقات مشابه در مناطق دیگر و استفاده از داده‌های با قدرت تفکیک طیفی بیشتر توصیه می‌گردد.}, keywords_fa = {ETM+,LISS III,حداکثر تشابه,تیپ‌بندی جنگل,واقعیت زمینی نمونه‌ای,زاگرس}, url = {https://ijfpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_107760.html}, eprint = {https://ijfpr.areeo.ac.ir/article_107760_bede3b53c4d8566a1a21743d694ae16f.pdf} }
